Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc seeks an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) in Columbus, GA. This is a paid per fitting role supporting the sales organization and Regional Clinical Advisors by fitting and training patients with the ASSURE wearable defibrillator.

The APS travels to hospitals and patients’ homes to measure garments, train users, manage kits and paperwork, and ensure credentialing and HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience.
• Clinical or engineering background including nurses, cardiac device sales, clinical engineers, catheterization lab techs, physician assistants, or ECG technicians.
• Disclose personal NPI number if applicable.
• Background check completion; Florida and Ohio require level 2 screening.
• Ability to pay for vendor credentialing during a 90-day probation.
• Experience in patient and/or clinician education.

Responsabilités

• Fit and train local patients with the ASSURE wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in ASSURE patients.
• Schedule services by contacting prescribers, caregivers and patients.
• Travel to hospitals, patients' homes and other healthcare facilities for fittings.
• Measure patients to determine garment size.
• Review and transmit essential paperwork for garment and services.
