Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) in Columbia, SC to fit and train patients with a wearable defibrillator. You will be the local patient care representative, providing effective fittings and patient education under corporate direction.

This paid per fitting position requires clinical or engineering background, strong communication, and willingness to travel to hospitals and patients' homes, with flexible daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• One year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background such as nurses, cardiac device sales, clinical engineers, or ECG technicians.
• Ability to pay for vendor credentialing during a 90-day probationary period.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsabilités

• Act as a contractor ASSURE Patient Specialist to fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and confidence in ASSURE patients with strong patient care skills.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers and patients to schedule services.
• Travel to hospitals, patients' homes and clinics to provide fittings.
• Measure patients to determine garment size and manage related paperwork.
• Maintain inventory of garment kits, systems and equipment for fittings.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies and hospital procedures.
• Flexibility to work daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
