Job summary

Oak Grove Technologies, LLC seeks a skilled Gunsmith/Weapons Specialist to serve as SME for small arms maintenance and repair. Support Special Forces training, readiness, and operations with expert weapon knowledge, maintenance, instruction, and operational support.

Location is Range 37, Southern Pines, NC. The position requires U.S. citizenship, SECRET clearance, adherence to regulations, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Equal opportunity employer statement included.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship/Residency required.
• Possess SECRET security clearance.
• Background check (NACLAC) required; MOS/Certs preferred.
• Ability to pass medical exam and maintain fitness standards.
• Fluent English communication; ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, overhaul, and repair small arms (US, foreign, standard, non-standard, obsolete).
• Diagnose mechanical deficiencies in pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns, and other small arms.
• Keep proficiency with tools, gauges, and finishing agents; perform accuracy/ safeties checks.
• Disassemble/assemble foreign and domestic small arms; test fired operations.
• Train less experienced workers and enforce safety regulations.
• Manage ammo inventory, records, and weapon maintenance programs.
