Job summary

NBT Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Trust Administration Associate to support the Wealth Management Group in Connecticut. The role involves processing fees, postings to the Trust Accounting System, and generating reports, while ensuring timely tax payments and accurate data uploads.

The candidate should have an Associate degree and at least 4 years of experience in trust or banking environments, with strong communication and organizational skills; flexibility to rotate within the department is

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education.
A minimum of 4 years experience in trust, banking, paralegal, accounting, brokerage or insurance environment.
Experience in the securities and/or trust administration area preferred.

Responsibilities

Process fees, receipts and deliveries; post transactions to Trust Accounting System; generate reports and letters.
Update spreadsheets; review transfer paperwork; adjust cost basis; perform daily balance with vendor; open/close accounts.
Process disbursement of cash from Trust Accounts to escrow; upload tax information to platforms; review charitable trust tax deposits on EFTPS.
Provide excellent customer service and professional communication with internal and external customers.
Inventory Vault quarterly to ensure proper documentation; perform other duties as assigned.
