Job summary

Baird is seeking a Transition Process Coordinator to deliver compliant transitions for experienced Financial Advisors and their clients. The role works across Legal, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, IT, Recruiting, and Branch Leadership to customize transition plans and protect sensitive information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of financial-services or related industry experience preferred.
• Experience with account-opening and transfer processes is desirable.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and collaborative approach; capable of independent work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-transition planning with legal and business partners.
• Review client communications and materials for accuracy and approvals.
• Coordinate onboarding with advisors: team naming, websites, marketing, access, and systems.
• Analyze client and product data to identify Baird relationships and service implications.
• Prepare client communications and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Manage transition-day account setup, including ACATS initiation and transfers.
• Monitor account-opening and transfer activity; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
