Job summary

CAPTRUST is seeking a Tax Associate to provide exposure to tax planning and compliance within a wealth management firm’s robust tax practice. You will participate in client meetings, assist with planning and various projects, and support service and admin teams from day one in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes tax planning, compliance, and client support, with opportunities for learning and CPA exam progression within CAPTRUST’s collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax or accounting from an accredited university or equivalent years of working experience/Master's degree in accounting.
• 1-3 years current public accounting experience including individual and trust taxation.

Responsibilities

• Assist on special projects (internal projects/client specific)
• Assist with tax planning and preparation
• Help team prepare for client meetings
• Attend client meetings in a support role
• Participate in cash flow planning/estate planning/cash management/balance sheet planning/operational business planning
• Support the client services and administrative teams as needed/requested
