You will help clients understand their estate planning, tax planning, philanthropic vehicles, life insurance programs, and business succession planning. In this consultative role, you’ll help clients navigate complex planning considerations, coordinate with internal and external partners, and support the development of tailored solutions that reflect each client’s priorities. You’ll also contribute to business development efforts and help elevate the wealth strategies offering through education, thought leadership, and collaboration across the firm.

  • Client Collaboration: Review estate planning and trust documents. Serve as a bridge between clients and outside advisors (i.e., attorneys, CPAs) to implement strategies. Research and review fiduciary and tax issues. Prepare written and graphical summaries.
  • Business Development Support: Support business development activities by actively participating in prospect meetings.
  • Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of educational and marketing materials.
  • External & Internal Engagement: Participate in educational seminars internally. Present to client and intermediary groups externally. Promote the wealth strategies offering across the firm.

You’re an attorney with 6-10+ years of experience in estate planning, with expertise in insurance planning, business succession planning, executive compensation, and philanthropic planning. Experience in income tax planning and accounting is an asset.
  • You’re passionate about people and have a network. You bring experience in the trust and financial services industry and have built strong relationships within the trust and estate legal community. You know how to build credibility and foster trusted partnerships.
  • You are a strong communicator. You can present complex information to internal and external partners in a way that is clear, focused, and concise. Your verbal and written communication skills help clients and colleagues make informed decisions.
  • You give meaning to data. You can identify and assess complex issues, evaluate options, and develop effective recommendations. You use sound judgment to turn analysis into practical solutions.
  • You’re motivated by collective success. You know that teamwork can transform a good idea into a great one. You know that an inclusive team that enjoys working together can bring a vision to life.
