Job description

Join Shumaker, where the excitement of legal excellence intersects with an enjoyable and vibrant workplace! As an attorney in our Wealth Strategies Service Line, you will engage in sophisticated and challenging estate planning work for clients in South Carolina and nationwide.

The ideal candidate will have at least 0-2 years of experience with a strong working knowledge of estate planning, probate administration and trust administration. An LL.M. in taxation or estate planning is strongly preferred, but not required. Experience with federal estate tax returns (Form 706) and federal gift tax returns (Form 709) is a plus.

This position will work in-person at our Charleston, South Carolina office.

Physical Requirements

Sitting position static for up to one‑half hour at a time.
