Job description

Chris Pritt Law, PLLC is an estate planning law firm in Charleston, West Virginia, helping individuals and families protect what they’ve built and provide for the people they love. We focus on planning and probate administration. We are seeking a full-time Estate Planning Attorney who is client-focused, detail-oriented, and interested in building a long-term career in trusts and estates.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives, and review these documents with clients to ensure they reflect their wishes.
• Advise clients on estate planning strategies to help them achieve their goals and provide for loved ones and charitable causes.
• Coordinate, as needed, with financial advisors, insurance agents, and other professionals to implement comprehensive plans.
• Maintain organized client files and manage matters from initial plan design through signing and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law or bar results in West Virginia
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills, especially with clients who may be anxious or unfamiliar with legal planning
• Genuine interest in estate planning, probate, and related areas; prior experience in these fields is preferred but not required
