Job summary

Corient seeks an experienced Internal Controls professional in New York to strengthen IFR/SOX 404, RCSA, and related control activities across Finance, Compliance, and IT. You will design, test, and monitor controls while partnering with teams to bolster risk management and governance.

This exempt role requires 4–8+ years in financial services and a Bachelor’s degree; CPA or audit certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of IFRS/SOX 404 and RCSA
• 4-8+ years in financial services preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required
• CPA or relevant audit cert a plus
• Knowledge of MetricStream, Salesforce, Addepar and Workday a plus
• Knowledge of IT General Controls a plus

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and operate the firm’s Operational Risk and Control environment for Wealth Management
• QA control performance for contracts to billing, money movement, trade execution, and user access reviews
• Conduct design and operating effectiveness control testing
• Develop and maintain procedures, playbooks, and guidance for consistent standards
• Translate risk and remediation plans into actionable tasks
• Partner with Compliance, Finance, Operations and IT to support risk mitigation and control execution
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and risk insights for senior leadership
