Job summary

Corient, a leading wealth-management firm, is seeking a motivated student intern for a summer program in Dallas, TX. You will help prepare client materials, analyze financial information, and support financial planning templates while gaining exposure to wealth management practices.

The role emphasizes client service, teamwork, and professional ethics. Onsite work four days a week with a 40-hour schedule, June through August 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree and ideally will be a rising junior or senior come summer 2027.
• Demonstrates an extraordinary client service attitude.
• Team player who can assist, mentor, and inspire others.
• Upholds high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.
• Maintains strict confidentiality regarding client and firm matters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for client presentations, such as financial independence and education projections, net worth statements, cash flow reports, budgets, insurance, and estate planning summaries.
• Review, summarize, and analyze information related to various financial aspects of a client’s life, including risk management, retirement planning, benefits, taxes, estate plans, gifting, charitable endeavors, and education.
• Assist in preparing customized financial planning templates for client meetings.
• Research financial planning topics as needed.
• Manage client and firm documents in the document management system.
• Contribute to firm projects and departmental initiatives as requested.
• Represent Corient positively to clients, outside professionals, and the public.
