Job summary

Corient, a leading multi-family office in Houston, seeks a motivated undergraduate for a summer internship. You will prepare client materials, summarize financial data, and assist in building planning templates while coordinating with the team to meet deadlines.

This 40-hour/week onsite internship runs June–August 2027 in Houston, with exposure to risk management, retirement planning, estate matters, and tax concepts, and offers hands-on experience in corporate finance and client service.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree and ideally will be a rising junior or senior come summer 2027.
• Demonstrates extraordinary client service attitude and teamwork.
• Maintains professionalism, ethics and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for client presentations, including financial projections and summaries.
• Review, summarize, and analyze financial information across risk, retirement, taxes, estate planning, gifting, and education.
• Assist in creating customized financial planning templates for client meetings.
• Research financial planning topics as needed.
• Manage client and firm documents in the document management system.
• Contribute to firm projects and departmental initiatives.
• Represent Corient positively to clients, outside professionals, and the public.
