Job summary

Corient in Newport Beach is seeking a driven college student for a summer internship (June–August 2027) to support financial planning activities. This role emphasizes client materials, data analysis, and collaborative teamwork within a wealth management environment.

You will assist in preparing presentations, documents, and planning templates, while gaining exposure to risk management, retirement planning, and estate considerations. Onsite work four days a week with a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, rising junior or senior in Summer 2027.
• Demonstrates exceptional client service attitude and professionalism.
• Team player who can mentor others and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for client presentations (financial independence, education projections, net worth statements, cash flow, budgets, insurance, estate planning summaries).
• Review and summarize information on risk management, retirement planning, taxes and education.
• Assist in preparing customized financial planning templates for client meetings.
• Research financial planning topics as needed.
• Manage client and firm documents in the document management system.
• Support firm projects and represent Corient positively to clients and professionals.
