JPMorgan Chase & Co. US Private Bank is seeking a Client Onboarding Officer to support all aspects of client onboarding, including Account Opening, AML, and KYC compliance.

You will partner with clients and client-facing teams to ensure regulatory standards are met and timely due diligence is completed. As a Wealth Management USPB Client Onboarding Associate, you will ensure client documents are compliant with regulations and that due diligence is completed with high quality and timeliness,

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in financial services, operations or compliance.
  • Strong written and oral communication with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize/multi-task.
  • Ability to work under pressure with fixed deadlines.
  • Ability to partner with internal groups and client coverage.
  • Independent, self-motivated with ability to adapt in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the client & client-facing teams to collect required legal documents and information to meet regulatory and internal policies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on required legal documents and process to onboard a client to PB platforms.
  • Serve as point of contact for account opening issues.
  • Act as a subject matter resource on account opening policies and procedures.

Join our US Private Bank Client Onboarding team, where you'll support all aspects of client onboarding, including Account Opening, Anti Money Laundering (AML), and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements. As a Client Onboarding Officer, you'll partner with clients and client-facing teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, timely completion of client-level due diligence, and assist with the drafting and gathering of client documents. Stay current with all regulatory changes and requirements around client Suitability and Documentation.

As a Wealth Management, USPB Client Onboarding Associate within our team, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of client onboarding, including Account Opening, Anti Money Laundering (AML), and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements. You will partner with clients and client-facing teams to ensure all client Account Opening documents are compliant with regulatory standards, and will ensure high quality and timely completion of all client-level due diligence requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with the client & client facing teams to collect required legal documents and associated information to meet all regulatory and internal polices

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years of experience within a financial services, operational or compliance fields
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize/multi-task
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly with new or unfamiliar subject matter and work under pressure with fixed deadlines
  • Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups and client coverage
  • Independent, self-motivated, with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently; able to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to directly address conflicts and escape issues where appropriate
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and organizational skills with strong risk and controls awareness
  • Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture
  • Ability to successfully navigate a complex infrastructure that involves numerous groups and individuals
  • Demonstrated experience as a key contributing member of a high performing organization

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Prior experience in Account opening, AML &/or KYC a plus
