Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Technology Leader to drive architecture, development, and lifecycle management of enterprise platforms in Wealth Management. You will guide cross-functional teams, design scalable microservices and API-based solutions, and ensure security and regulatory compliance.

Required: engineering degree, 5+ years in tech leadership within Wealth Management, 10+ years overall, plus AWS and API experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Computer Science) required.
5+ years experience in Technology Leadership related roles, with a focus on Wealth Management domain.
10+ overall experience in technology roles from developer to leadership.
Experience with new product implementations (Trading, security lending, incentive management) from design to delivery.
Experience in AWS cloud stack, microservices, API integration, and technology delivery.

Responsibilities

Drive architecture, development, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise platforms.
Lead integration efforts across the technology ecosystem with security and data standards.
Oversee data-driven solutions: ETL, data pipelines, and executive reporting.
Coach development teams and manage delivery partners across projects.
Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management in Wealth Management tech solutions.
