Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Technology Leader for Wealth Management to guide architecture, development, and lifecycle management across enterprise platforms.

You will drive technology strategy, design scalable API-based solutions, oversee data pipelines, security and regulatory readiness, and mentor delivery teams and partners. This role blends IC and leadership responsibilities in a dynamic, regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Computer Science).
• 5+ years experience in Technology Leadership related roles, with a focus on Wealth Management domain
• 10+ overall experience (from application developer to leadership roles)
• Experience with new product implementations (Trading, security lending, incentive management applications) from design and architecture perspective all the way to delivery (full lifecycle or end-to-end)
• Experience in AWS cloud stack, development, technology integration, technology delivery, Microservices, API, AI integrations.
• Experience integrating vendor solutions with enterprise applications
• Equally motivated to play an Individual Contributor role and people manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise technology platforms.
• Drive the technology strategy, roadmap, and execution plans aligned to business priorities.
• Design and deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure technology solutions including microservices, APIs, and integration components.
• Lead integration efforts across the technology ecosystem, ensuring security and data standards.
• Oversee data pipelines, analytics, and reporting to support decision-making and governance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, controls, and risk management in solutions.
