Job summary

Cerity Partners invites motivated undergraduates to join our Wealth Management team for a paid summer internship in 2027. The program runs 30-40 hours per week and offers real-world experience within a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.

You will shadow financial advisors, use CRM and financial planning software, and have opportunities such as e-Money Certification while supporting the full financial planning process.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Majoring in Financial Planning, Finance, or related business degree.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably in a leadership role, and/or professional work experience.
• Identify with Cerity Partner's mission and demonstrate our core values.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and participate in various types of client presentations
• Utilize CRM and financial planning software systems
• Opportunity to obtain e-Money Certification
• Shadow and assist Financial Advisors with preparation of financial documents and performance reports
• Help support the full financial planning process: discovery, data gathering, plan development, presentation, implementation, and ongoing reviews
• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of discretionary investment portfolios
• Learn and implement basic and advanced income tax planning strategies
• Conduct independent research and build spreadsheets for financial planning opportunities
• Work with a team virtually to create a financial planning project or other projects
• Other duties as assigned.
