We have an opportunity for a consultative, high-energy Inside Sales professional to join a fast-growing, private equity–backed wealth management firm that is expanding its team. This fully remote role suits someone who does well with a high volume of warm leads, builds trust quickly with high-net-worth prospects, and can turn a first conversation into a scheduled meeting with a senior advisor.
You’ll be the first point of contact for people who have reached out for financial guidance. Your job is to learn why they reached out, show how the firm can help, and hand qualified opportunities to the regional sales team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond within minutes to inbound leads from marketing campaigns and paid lead platforms. Speed matters, because prospects are often talking to several firms.
- Manage high daily call volume (roughly 135–150 calls) using an automated dialing and follow-up system that handles call, text, and email cadences.
- Hold consultative discovery conversations to understand each prospect’s goals, concerns, and financial situation, including the reason they reached out in the first place.
- Explain the firm’s value proposition clearly to high-net-worth individuals in a way that is centered on the client.
- Convert conversations into scheduled appointments against defined targets. Make sure the meetings you set are high quality and actually happen.
- Hand qualified opportunities to the regional VP / external sales team with clean, accurate notes for a smooth transition.
- Address objections and concerns thoughtfully while keeping conversations moving forward.
- Keep prospect activity, notes, and next steps accurate and up to date in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
- Take part in coaching, role-plays, and process improvements, and share feedback with leadership on messaging and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of measurable success in inside sales, business development, or another high-volume sales role.
- 2+ years financial services experience, such as an RIA, broker-dealer, custodian (Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard), internal wholesaling, or banking.
- Background at a high-growth RIA or multi-branch advisory firm will be prioritized.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover needs and recommend appropriate next steps.
- Confident, polished phone presence, comfortable engaging successful professionals and high-net-worth prospects.
- Active listening and emotional intelligence, especially around sensitive financial topics.
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding performance and conversion goals.
- Comfortable working in a structured, metric-driven environment, and willing to learn and follow a proven sales process.
- Experienced with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), automated dialers, and digital communication tools.
- Willing to learn about, and work compliantly within, the financial services industry. Must be in good compliance standing.
This is a fully remote position. The team stays connected through daily video collaboration, with occasional in-person gatherings. New hires complete a structured training program that combines live classroom sessions with on-the-job learning, plus access to regional VPs and advisors for ongoing development.
