Job summary

Vaco is seeking a Client Service & Operations Specialist in Columbus, OH to serve as the primary contact for clients by phone, email and in person. You will process investment paperwork, coordinate transfers, and maintain client records with strict confidentiality.

The role supports advisors, schedules meetings, and helps with events and marketing initiatives while driving efficient office workflows. A 5+ year wealth management background and Series 6 are required, with Life & Health licensing

Qualifications

• 5+ years in wealth management and financial advisory required.
• Series 6 license is essential; Life & Health license optional after start.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact by phone, email, and in person.
• Prepare, process, submit, and follow up on investment/account paperwork.
• Coordinate account maintenance, transfers, and cashiering requests.
• Maintain accurate client and financial planning information in firm systems.
• Schedule client meetings and assist advisors during meetings.
• Support events, marketing, and referral activities; document workflows.
