Morgan Stanley in United States is seeking a Wealth Management Analyst to support Financial Advisors and Private Wealth Advisors. This role centers on client service, digital tools, and portfolio and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities include meeting preparation, back-up client service tasks, and assisting with business development, marketing efforts, and client reporting. A minimum of 2+ years experience, a 4-year degree, and relevant securities licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Active Series 7 (GS), and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required

  • Technically proficient and quick learner of new and updated platforms
  • Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office and internet applications
  • Exceptional writing, interpersonal and client service skills

Responsibilities

  • Client Support: cover for an FA/PWA/team, prepare for regular meetings and track follow-ups
  • Provide backup coverage for client service associate responsibilities, including money movement, questions, digital tools enrollment
  • Remain current on policies, procedures, and new platforms
  • Business Development & Operational Support: assist in organizing and executing the business plan
  • Coordinate digital and in-person marketing strategies including conferences, seminars, webinars, websites, social media, and email connectivity
  • Prepare and review client reports or financial plans from firm-approved systems
  • Assist with research using firm-approved systems
  • Participate in client or prospective client meetings
  • Take part in firm initiatives and projects directed by local management

DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Support:
As a key member of the service team, provide coverage for an FA/PWA/team including:

  • Assisting the FA/PWA/team in delivering against their client service model, including preparing for regular meetings and tracking follow-ups
  • Providing backup coverage for traditional registered or unregistered Client Service Associate responsibilities at the request of the client and/or FA/PWA/team, such as executing money movement transactions, answering general non-investment related questions concerning client accounts, educating or enrolling clients in digital tools (e.g., MS Online), accepting or entering unsolicited orders and/or entering solicited orders in a clerical capacity
  • Remaining current on all policies, procedures and new platforms
Business Development & Operational Support
  • Assisting the FA/PWA/team in organizing around and executing against their business plan, partnering closely with other market stakeholders such as Practice Strategy Consultants and Branch Management
  • At the direction of FA/PWA/team, executing against all administrative elements of digital and in-person marketing strategies including conferences and seminars or webinars, websites, social media and regular email connectivity
  • At the request of the client and/or FA/PWA/team, preparing and reviewing various client reports or financial plans from firm-approved systems for existing or prospective clients
  • At the request of the client and/or FA/PWA/team, assisting with research using firm-approved systems
  • At the request of FA/PWA/team, participating in existing client and/or prospective client meetings, representing the service lens
  • Participating in firm initiatives (e.g., training or education programs), special projects and/or other duties directed by local management
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, And SKILLS

Education and/or Experience

  • 2+ years of work experience in a field relevant to the position required

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $75k and $125k per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
