Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Financial Consultant in New York to combine planning expertise with holistic financial guidance for clients, focusing on investing, retirement readiness, and education goals.

You will start with an established client base and work closely with a branch team to expand relationships, guided by Schwab’s training and mentoring programs to accelerate growth and career advancement.

Qualifications

• A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required.
• Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) as it will be required during tenure on the job.
• Obtaining or acquiring Life & Health Insurance as it will be required during tenure on the job.
• CFP® Certification is a plus; Tuition Reimbursement and CFP Cohort Program support development.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage in warm outreach to existing and prospective clients, maintaining consistent sales activity to grow the book of business and strengthen client relationships.
• Engage clients with market insights, investment principles, and wealth planning discussions to help them reach goals.
• Provide an outstanding investor experience while pursuing ongoing professional development within Wealth Management.
