Serv, a global executive recruitment partner, is hiring on behalf of our client Waystone Advisors for a Wealth Design Advisor.
Most financial firms are built around one finish line: retirement at 65. Save enough, wait long enough, and eventually you may have the freedom to stop working.
Waystone Advisors believes there’s a better way.
Founded in 2011, Waystone is built around the belief that financial independence isn’t a retirement date—it’s about creating the freedom to make work optional. They help high earners, including physicians, pilots, tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and real estate investors, build wealth and passive income with the goal of achieving that freedom years, or even decades, earlier.
As an independent, SEC-registered firm, Waystone answers to its clients rather than a traditional product shelf. This allows the team to bring together traditional investments with alternative strategies, including real estate, giving clients access to opportunities historically more common among the ultra-wealthy.
Their mission is simple: make your money work harder than you do.
Waystone believes financial independence may be closer than many people realize. Every advisor on the team plays a direct role in helping clients see what’s possible and build a strategy to get there.

As a Wealth Design Advisor, you’re not simply managing a book of business. You’re helping clients build a path toward making work optional. Every plan you create is designed to move someone closer to greater financial independence and flexibility in their life.
This role is for an advisor who sees the limitations of traditional financial planning and wants the ability to offer clients more. At Waystone, you’ll gain exposure to alternative investment strategies that many advisors never have the opportunity to work with, while building a growing client base and developing your expertise.
Within your first 16 months, you’ll have a clear path toward increased responsibility and growth into a senior advisor role.
Success in this role means clients don't simply understand what Waystone is recommending. They understand why it matters, trust the strategy and feel confident taking action.
The strongest fit may be an advisor who already feels that something is missing from traditional financial planning.
You've learned the industry. You know how to advise clients. But you've also started asking whether there's a better way to help people use their wealth to create freedom now, rather than someday.
If that sounds familiar, Waystone wants to meet you.
We take our hiring process seriously and evaluate candidates based on both capability and culture fit. Our goal is to ensure you step into a role where you feel genuinely excited and fulfilled. That’s important for you, and it’s equally important for us. Below is a snapshot of what you can expect throughout our hiring process.
Please note that steps may vary slightly depending on the position.
This role offers a strong performance-based compensation structure with significant upside. Starting base compensation is approximately $120,000, with the opportunity to earn a 50% performance bonus based on achieving individual onboarding and revenue goals.
