Today's complex industry calls for a wide range of specialized skills that few financial professionals can command on their own. At Baystate Financial, we treat YOU as the client and provide the product and sales support you need to maximize your time in front of clients.

Your primary focus will be comprehensive financial planning, ranging from investments to insurance, helping your clients with their full financial picture. You will create customized financial plans tailored to each client based on potential life changes and evolving financial needs. Additionally, you will assist clients in implementing financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products.

What you get!

  • 2-5 years of professional experience is required. Familiarity with financial planning is a plus but not necessary. We will fully train you with a road-to-success roadmap. We will reimburse study materials and licensing costs.
  • Potential earnings: If you follow the roadmap to success, you can potentially earn between $80,000 and $100,000 in commissions annually.

Our work environment requires occasional in-office presence, so candidates must be local to Boston, MA.

  • Customize financial plans based on clients' professional circumstances, life stages, and financial needs
  • Gather and assess clients' financial information to determine financial status, cash flow, expectations, goals, retirement plans, and other wealth management factors

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related analytical field is preferred
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in client services, insurance, investments, or related fields
  • Familiarity with financial planning is a plus but not necessary
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, financial planning software, Google Suite, CRM systems, and related programs
  • Understanding of the role of a financial advisor or consultant, with an interest in the financial industry and products
