Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a creative Summer 2027 Wealth & Investing Video Intern to join our video and audio production team in New York City. You’ll work with editors and producers on content for MarketWatch, Barron’s, and Mansion Global, and you must be available full-time in-office during the internship.

This hybrid, 10-week program pairs you with a mentor, exposes you to professional development, and builds hands-on skills in video editing, research, and social media storytelling.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years towards your Bachelor’s degree
• A working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Knowledge of Illustrator is appreciated, but not required
• Knowledge of Audition or Pro Tools is appreciated, but not required
• Knowledge of Canon or Sony cameras and ability to shoot awesome video with a smartphone
• Exceptional writing skills
• Experience or interest in building social media strategy
• An interest in business, finance and all the ways money makes the world go round
• The ability to ask questions and apply new insights

Responsibilities

• Edit down interviews and assist on shoots
• Help research stories and co-ordinate production logistics and schedule interviews for video and audio stories
• Organize footage and handle other administrative tasks
• Help repackage video and audio content for social media platforms
• Help the podcast team with research, fact‑checking, finding contextual audio materials and transcriptions
