Ameriprise Financial is seeking a senior sales consultant to drive wealth management product growth across the Pacific West. You will partner with advisors, field leaders and internal partners to expand awareness, adoption and sales of wealth solutions.

The role emphasizes relationship management, market insight and consultative selling to influence product selection, with travel throughout the territory for events and trainings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the financial services sales with wealth management knowledge.
• Experience in a consultative sales environment influencing outcomes and driving growth.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Series 7 license required.
• Active State securities agent registration (S63/S66) or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Active State IAR registration (S65/S66) or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory sales by building relationships with advisors through meetings, events, and trainings.
• Influence product selection via consultative sales aligned to client needs.
• Collaborate with sales consultants, leadership, marketing to execute territory plans.
• Monitor industry trends and communicate insights affecting positioning.
• Travel across the territory for advisor engagement, training, and events.
• Leverage CRM, analytics, and systems to identify opportunities and prep meetings.
• Manage territory operations, scheduling, budgets, and follow-ups.
