Job summary

Orion is seeking a Senior Director, FP&A (Wealth) to partner with the Wealth leadership and the President of Wealth Management. You will translate complex financial data into strategic guidance, focusing on net flows, rate, product mix, and incentive economics to drive growth and profitability.

In this role you will own forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting, lead a small FP&A team, and work closely with Sales, Legal, and Accounting to shape contracts and pricing while maintaining data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
• Proven track record as a proactive business partner with senior leaders.
• Experience in wealth management or wealth services with understanding of asset flows and revenue drivers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as finance partner to Wealth President, surfacing risks, opportunities, and solutions ahead of the business.
• Turn ambiguous questions into clear analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Shape Wealth's financial direction by tracking net flows, retention, product mix, and rates.
• Forecast compensation expense and advise on plan design and changes.
• Explain how compensation aligns with net flows, revenue, and margins to leadership.
• Partner with Sales Compensation Lead to align narratives with numbers.
• Lead financial evaluation of strategic deals, restructures, and retention plays.
• Define methods and guardrails for pricing and contract terms with cross-functional teams.
• Quantify in-year and run-rate impact of pricing changes.
• Own Wealth forecasting cadence and long-range model integrating AUM, net flows, rate, and product mix.
• Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning with reconciled data.
• Lead monthly business reviews, delivering insights rather than restating numbers.
• Maintain integrity and narrative of Wealth financials for boards and dashboards.
• Keep a single trusted Wealth data version by reconciling reports and BI.
• Lead and develop FP&A team including onshore and offshore analysts.
• Set standards, coach for judgment and business acumen, build succession depth.
• Lead by example and uphold Orion's values, building an inclusive high-trust team.
