Job summary

RBC in Minneapolis, a top financial services firm, seeks a Manager, Data Management and Governance in Wealth Management Americas DMO to drive data governance aligned with policy and regulatory expectations while enabling AI-powered business growth.

You will implement data standards, curate governance data, and produce KPI reports, collaborating with business units, IT and enterprise functions to scale practices across USWM and beyond.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of data management, governance and risk concepts and capabilities.
• Experience in Wealth Management, preferably in data governance or risk management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to simplify complex messages.
• Detail-oriented thinker with ability to follow through on complex processes.
• Strong organizational awareness and risk/issue communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement data standards of care to drive mature governance, metadata, lineage, data quality and controls.
• Curate information in the governance platform and act as SME.
• Produce and maintain KPI/KRI reports and program status for governance compliance.
• Collaborate across business units, IT and enterprise functions to standardize practices USWM-wide.
• Support agile, non-invasive governance and regulatory/audit requirements including refresh/attestation.
• Contribute to continuous improvements as data assets expand to AI governance and new areas.
