Job summary

Summitry, a Bay Area wealth management firm, seeks a Principal for Business Development in Foster City. You will lead lead generation, sign high net worth clients, and develop channels with COI and custodian partners, reporting to the Business Development Manager.

You will close opportunities within our sales process, coordinate with Private Client Group Advisors, and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients to Summitry's management services, while pursuing quarterly and annual goals.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with persistence to build a pipeline from scratch.
• 4 years of successful sales experience.
• Highly organized with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently and in a team.
• Experience with MS Outlook and CRM technology.
• CFA and/or CFP credential (or pursuing) is a plus.
• Must have mode of transportation for travel.

Responsibilities

• Build ties with COI referral partners and custodian partners.
• Develop new referral channels for business development.
• Qualify marketing-generated prospects and close opportunities.
• Represent Summitry’s investment philosophy and planning services in meetings with prospective clients.
• Close new business and meet quarterly/annual goals.
• Ensure smooth transition of new clients to Summitry’s management services.
• Collaborate with Private Client Group Advisors.
• Contribute to BD process improvements and growth.
