Job summary

Lord Abbett in Jersey City seeks a senior analytics leader to advance its wealth management business through data-driven analytics, data stewardship, and domain expertise. You will generate insights for wealth management intermediary clients and prospects and support client master data knowledge.

Collaborate with platform managers, field sales, portfolio specialists, marketing, finance, and technology teams to translate business needs into actionable analytics and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence experience in asset management or financial services.
• Experience collaborating with field sales, platform relations, and portfolio specialists to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and impactful solutions
• Leadership in distribution-focused initiatives and client insight strategies for clients using model portfolios, SMAs, and alternative investments
• Hands-on data analytics with direct sales experience enabling a holistic view of technical and commercial dimensions
• Independent worker who can also thrive as part of a team
• Strong stakeholder service mindset with strategic thinking and data storytelling
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn complex data and reporting flows
• Service-oriented mindset with ownership and accountability
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment across teams
• Strong SQL proficiency

Responsibilities

• Deliver High-Quality Analytics: Ensure timely and accurate analytics delivery to support platform managers, field sales, and internal stakeholders.
• Strengthen Strategic Partnerships: Use data-driven insights to deepen relationships with sales leaders and align with objectives.
• Complete ad hoc research, analysis, and reporting by sourcing data from diverse sources and delivering meaningful insights.
• Advance Data Strategy and Roadmap: Contribute to client master and analytics roadmap to grow opportunities for Lord Abbett sales teams.
• Drive Client Strategy Through Analytics: Define and track client segmentation and product commercialization efforts.
• Collaborate on Data Architecture and Operations: Work with Data/Technology to design client master and data operations.
• Lead Strategic Projects: Manage cross-functional initiatives from problem to implementation with measurable impact.
• Deep expertise in 1st party transactions and activity data to generate actionable insights.
• Foster a culture of data literacy, transparency and KPI tracking across the organization.
