Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a financial advisor to consult on investment and insurance strategies and to grow a book of business for clients in the United States. You will own the client experience by handling sales, service, referrals, and ongoing relationship management.

You will develop financial plans, present recommendations, and coach internal partners to uncover investment opportunities while ensuring compliance with laws and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • University degree typically required for roles at this level.
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience.
  • Knowledge of client prospecting and relationship building.
  • Credit risk analysis and financial modeling expertise.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required, or Series 7 with Series 63/65.
  • Life and Health Insurance license required.
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  • PNC sponsorship and STEM OPT restrictions apply.

Responsibilities

  • Consult on investment and insurance strategies and develop financial plans for clients.
  • Grow and retain an investment and insurance book of business.
  • Own the client experience by handling sales and service, identifying opportunities, and referrals.
  • Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development and networking.
  • Grow client loyalty and share of wallet through an exceptional client experience.
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve client problems efficiently.
  • Develop and implement investment and insurance strategies.
  • Present financial recommendations and guidance to clients.
  • Establish individual financial plans based on client needs and objectives.
  • Monitor financial plans and recommend changes as needed.
  • Coach and educate internal business partners to identify opportunities.
  • Drive investment education and visibility among internal business partners.
  • Communicate with internal and external partners to build relationships and drive referrals.
  • Meet with internal partners to review business results and pipeline management.
  • Meet service level agreements on lead and referral follow-up.
  • Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  • Assess and manage risks under the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements
  • University/college degree typically required for roles at this level
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may substitute for a degree
  • Knowledge of client prospecting and relationship building
  • Credit risk analysis, financial analysis, and financial modeling
  • Investment banking knowledge
  • Public speaking and customer engagement skills
  • Coaching others and customer experience management
  • Customer retention, prospecting, sales tasks and activities, and selling
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required, or Series 7 and Series 63/65
  • Life and Health Insurance license required
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position
