- Consult on investment and insurance strategies and develop financial plans for clients
- Grow and retain an investment and insurance book of business
- Own the client experience by handling sales and service, identifying opportunities, and making referrals
- Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development and client networking
- Grow client loyalty and share of wallet through an exceptional client experience
- Apply product and procedural knowledge to solve client problems appropriately and efficiently
- Develop and implement investment and insurance strategies
- Determine the best products to support client strategies
- Present financial recommendations and guidance
- Establish, monitor, and update individual financial plans based on client needs and objectives
- Coach and educate internal business partners to identify investment opportunities
- Drive investment education and visibility among internal business partners
- Communicate with internal and external partners to build relationships and drive referral activity
- Meet with internal business partners to communicate and review business results and pipeline management
- Meet service level agreements on lead and referral follow-up
- Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines
- Assess and manage risks associated with business objectives and activities in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
Requirements
- University/college degree typically required for roles at this level
- 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
- Comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- FINRA Series 7 and 66, or Series 7 and Series 63/65, required
- Life and Health Insurance license required
- Knowledge of client prospecting, relationship building, credit risk analysis, customer engagement, financial analysis, financial modeling, investment banking, and public speaking
- Competence in coaching others, customer experience management, customer retention, effective communications, interpersonal relationships, managing multiple priorities, prospecting, sales tasks and activities, and selling
- Must satisfy applicable FDIA Section 19, SAFE Act, and/or FINRA requirements regarding criminal history
