Job summary

District Partners has been engaged by a top RIA Wealth Management firm to find a Wealth Advisor who will work directly with clients and assist in managing its growing business. The ideal candidate will provide sound financial advice across cash management, insurance analysis, retirement, tax & estate planning, and investment advisory services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant wealth management experience.
  • Third-party certification or licensing by relevant agency or association an added plus.
  • Working knowledge of planning strategies and solutions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, but also comfortable leading the effort when called upon.
  • Knowledge of investments and macro-economics as they relate to clients’ investment goals and objectives.
  • Actively engages as a team member and leverage the strengths of the overall team to deliver outstanding results and solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Understand clients' goals to develop personalized, comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Provide guidance for insurance, retirement planning, estate planning, business planning, education funding and investment advisory.
  • Offer objective, unbiased financial advice by analyzing opportunities and client needs.
  • Develop and manage client relationships with ongoing contact and communications.
  • Prepare for client meetings by reviewing required paperwork.
  • Update financial planning goals and strategies with clients.
  • Gather client information and create/update projections and recommendations using planning tools.
  • Coordinate with the Investment Team to support investment management and wealth strategies.
  • Participate in business development with prospective clients.
  • Maintain knowledge through reading industry publications.

District Partners has been engaged by a top RIA Wealth Management firm to find a Wealth Advisor, who will work directly with their clients and to assist in managing its growing business. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing sound financial advice to a wide range of individuals. The successful candidate joins a highly professional team that provides strategic advice to clients including, but not limited to, cash management, insurance analysis, retirement, tax & estate planning, and investment advisory services.

What You'll Do:
  • Strive to understand clients' goals and objectives in order to develop personalized, comprehensive financial solutions that will help clients reach financial success
  • Provide expert guidance and innovative solutions for the planning needs of individuals and businesses in the areas of insurance, retirement planning, estate planning, business planning, education funding and investment advisory
  • Provide objective, unbiased financial advice to a diverse mix of clients by analyzing investment opportunities and client needs. Utilizing planning skills and strategies to meet client needs
  • Client relationship development and management, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications
  • Client meeting preparation: review all required paperwork prior to meetings
  • Actively engage with clients to update financial planning goals, objectives and strategies
  • Gather client information and create or update planning projections and recommendations through eMoney (prior experience preferred but not required), as well as other proprietary planning tools
  • Work closely with the Investment Team to assist with the investment management process. This includes the coordination of the comprehensive planning and wealth management strategies
  • Participate in business development process with prospective clients
  • Maintain and grow your financial planning and investment knowledge through continuous reading of periodicals, white papers, research reports and other industry publications
What You'll Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience dealing with wealth management clients and/or services
  • Investment management, third party certification or licensing by relevant agency or association an added plus
  • Working knowledge of planning strategies and solutions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, but also comfortable leading the effort when called upon.
