Job summary

Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar in Plano, TX is seeking energetic team members to deliver warm, attentive hospitality. You’ll interact with guests, serve food and drink, maintain cleanliness, and support the culinary team to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interact with all guests and co-workers in a professional, hospitable, and friendly manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work; maintain proper uniform.
• Serve food and drinks according to Whiskey Cake Standards.
• Assist culinary team in providing tools needed to serve items.
• Keep floors, entry, and aisles clean and debris-free.
• Assist with packaging, labeling and payment transactions for To Go orders per cash-handling procedures.
• Provide guests directions around the restaurant and thank departing guests.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experiences is desired, but not required.

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Stand for long periods & be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• OpenTable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with all guests and co-workers in a professional, hospitable, and friendly manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work. The proper uniform should be worn at all times including dress, make-up, hair, and jewelry.
• Serve food and drink in accordance to Whiskey Cake Standards
• Assist culinary team in ensuring tools that are needed to properly serve items are readily available
• Keep floors, entry, and aisleways clean and free of debris.
• Assist with packaging, labeling and payment transactions for To Go orders in accordance to company cash handling procedures
• Provide guests “right of way” and assist guests needing directions around the restaurant.
• Genuinely thank all departing guests for dining with us and welcome all guests joining us.
• Be familiar with all restaurant information to be able to answer any guest questions or address any concerns.
• Answer all phone calls and fulfill any guest needs; be able to place calls on hold when needed or direct the call to the proper department; communicate any important information to the managers on duty.
