WMATA seeks a Workers’ Compensation Specialist to assist in administration, tracking, and oversight of work-related injury and illness claims programs, and to guide employees. Coordinate the Return to Duty process, liaise with the TPA and counsel, and support training and RMIS data management to improve safety and program efficiency.

Requires knowledge of WC regulations in DC/MD/VA and the ability to work with internal departments to obtain wage and claim information, and to participate in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or health services.
• Experience with workers’ compensation claims adjusting or related litigation is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of WC processes and compliance requirements.

Responsabilités

• Manages WC 'Return to Duty' process coordinating with operations, payroll, TPA, and other departments.
• Ensures compliance with WC policies and provides training related to WCCM and P/I.
• Liaises between WMATA, TPA, and counsel to coordinate claim activities and information exchange.
• Supports RMIS data management and access for claim adjustments.
