Barback

Assist the bar staff in any way possible to ensure great guest experiences and a smooth shift for the entire restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally and positively with guests and staff.
• Assist in filling ice wells and stocking liquor bottles.
• Ensure beer, wine, and cordials are stocked.
• Refill and date mixers, juices, and syrups.
• Prepare garnishes and set up the bar.
• Empty bus tubs and clean the bar top.
• Make batch cocktails and understand the batch system.
• Arrive on time, prepared, and in proper uniform.
• Use juicing machines safely and meet pars for the bar.
• Follow management and bartender directions.
• Have extensive menu knowledge to answer guest questions.
• Obtain and maintain necessary certifications.
• Set up and break down the bar, cleaning as needed.
• Empty trash and wash dishes with the bar machine.
