Job summary

Western Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Las Vegas Monorail system, performing routine testing and corrective maintenance on Traction Power Substations, Guideway, Switches and Power Rail. You will inspect, repair, and adjust electronic and mechanical systems, and respond to failures to restore operations.

The role requires the ability to work overnight, weekends, evenings, holidays and overtime as needed, and at least 2 years of electrical/mechanical experience

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in electrical/mechanical or technical training.
• Must be able to work overnight, weekends, evenings, holidays and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the operations and maintenance of the Las Vegas Monorail system.
• Conduct routine testing of equipment.
• Perform corrective maintenance on Traction Power Substations, Guideway, Switches, and Power Rail.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs and adjustments to all systems, subsystems and components of an electronic, and mechanical nature.
• Repair or replace defective parts, equipment using manuals, drawings, specs and other written or verbal instructions; respond to system failures to recover transit vehicles and restore system operations.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for:

• Supporting the operations and maintenance of the Las Vegas Monorail system
• Conducting routine testing of equipment
• Performing corrective maintenance on Traction Power Substations, Guideway, Switches, and Power Rail
• Performing corrective and preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs and adjustments to all systems, subsystems and components of an electronic, and mechanical nature
• Repairing or replacing defective parts, equipment utilizing manuals, drawings, specs and other written or verbal instructionsResponding to system failures – recover transit vehicles and restore system operations

Qualifications:

Must be able to work overnight, weekends, evenings, holidays and overtime as needed.

2 years of experience in electrical/mechanical or technical training.
