Job summary

Transdev North America in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a B-Level Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain EV and diesel engines across a fleet of vehicles. As a Maintenance Technician II, you’ll support safety, efficiency, and longevity of the fleet.

The schedule features four 10-hour shifts in a union environment. Starting pay is $24.35/hour with progression to $30.75 over 3 years (with Master ASE).

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an Electric Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided
• Mechanic’s Tool Set
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements on EV and diesel engines, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize EV and diesel engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for EV and diesel engines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on EV and diesel engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
• Other duties as required.

Transdev in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a B-Level Maintenance Technician to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both electric vehicle (EV) and diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Maintenance Technician II, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts.

• $24.35/Hr (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement PayScale)
• Starting pay $24.35 with progression to $30.75 over 3 years. (With Master ASE)

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
