Job Description and Requirements After Hire:

• Alignment with all items listed in the department’s requirements including skills, schedule and FTE.
• Agreement to participate in the Nurse Residency Program and its educational support components.
• Participation in Basic ECG course at Wayne HealthCare.
• Participation in American Heart Association ACLS course at Wayne HealthCare.
• Participation in any other certification class required (PALS, TNCC, NRP, EFM, etc).

Qualifications:

• To apply, the Residency Candidate must have a valid Registered Nurse license and have less than one year of experience within the department of hire (OR)
• Be a nursing school student with an anticipated graduation date within the next six months: Associates or Bachelor’s degree program (OR)
• Have already graduated nursing school and is pending NCLEX. (A valid RN license in Ohio is required prior to start date).
• Current BLS/CPR card (or identified plan with Residency Coordinator to obtain immediately after start date).
