We specialize in static and dynamic signage, wayfinding information systems, experiential graphic design, and visual communications. Our designs focus on clarity and readability, consistency, and user experience by creating intuitive and easy-to-navigate signage systems.

We are looking for an experienced Wayfinding Technical Design Project Manager to join our talented team. As the Wayfinding Technical Design Project Manager, you will influence signage design and guide the development of construction documents by ensuring the structural integrity and safety of signs, providing detailed drawings and calculations that guide fabrication and installation, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Material Selection: Specify appropriate materials and finishes for durability, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness.
• Fabrication Techniques: Select appropriate fabrication methods for the sign's design and materials.
• Construction Drawings: Using Revit, create detailed construction drawings that provide precise instructions for fabrication and installation.
• ADA Accessibility: Ensure compliance with ADA requirements for signage, including font size, contrast, and tactile lettering.
• Technology Integration: Review technical components and options for digital wayfinding integration (e.g., LED displays).
• A/E Collaboration: Work with the consultant team architects and engineers to ensure the sign design is not compromised by aesthetic or functional considerations.
• Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure exceptional quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Graphic Design
• 5-10 years of progressive post-bachelor’s degree design experience
• Experience in wayfinding design and signage construction
• Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques, materials, and processes
• Ability to create and review fabrication drawings with attention to detail
• Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Illustrator with CADtools
• Interior and exterior sign and environmental graphic program implementation, including programming, message schedules, documentation and installation.
