Job summary

Toole Design Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a Project Manager, Wayfinding/Environmental Graphics to lead multidisciplinary wayfinding, environmental graphics, and placemaking projects. You will manage client relationships, mentor design staff, and coordinate with urban design, landscape architecture, and transportation engineering teams to create navigable, user-centered public spaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience, including leadership of wayfinding projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence and built work.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite; CADTools, SignAgent, GIS, SketchUp a plus.
• Excellent visual, written, and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and guide projects from concept to implementation.
• Collaborative, proactive approach and client relationship skills.
• Passion for sustainability and multimodal transportation design.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary wayfinding and environmental graphics projects.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with urban design, landscape architecture, and transportation engineering teams.
