Job summary

Perkins&Will in Dallas seeks a Branded Environments, Signage & Wayfinding Designer II to translate research and goals into intuitive signage and environmental graphics. You will develop concepts that integrate brand, architecture, interiors, storytelling, and user experience for complex projects.

You will create information hierarchies, location plans, schedules, and production-ready artwork while coordinating with architects, fabricators, and clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in graphic design, environmental design, experiential design, product design, or a related field is required.
• LEED Green Associate accreditation required within six months of hire.
• Professional accreditation in Living Design (LEED AP, WELL, SITES, etc.) valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Translate research, project goals, and early design strategy into intuitive signage, wayfinding, and environmental graphic systems.
• Analyze user journeys and information needs to inform design recommendations.
• Develop design concepts that integrate brand, architecture, interiors, storytelling, and user experience.
• Create clear information hierarchies, location plans, schedules, and production-ready artwork.
• Coordinate day-to-day design work with project teams and collaborators; review shop drawings and samples for alignment to design intent.
