Groton is seeking a wax pattern inspector to visually inspect wax patterns and soluble cores for quality and dimensional accuracy. The role operates Monday–Friday with a 2:30 PM–11:00 PM shift, on-site in Groton, CT, and offers incentives including a quarterly bonus and overtime opportunities.

Under limited supervision, you will perform measurements with micrometers and gauges, repair/rework as needed, and maintain records while following safety regulations.

Formación

• Ability to read, write and count and follow written instructions.
• Ability to interpret calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• May work from sketches and established routines.
• 1 year experience in inspection preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Visually inspect wax patterns and soluble cores for surface finish, flaws, and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform dimensional checks with micrometers, venires, and scales.
• Repair or reject patterns or cores and document reasons for rejection.
• Maintain a clean work area and records; report defects and safety concerns.
• Support safety regulations and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Meet production standards while ensuring quality; demonstrate repair, rework and rebuild capabilities.
• Satisfies wax repairer B qualifications.
