Alene Candles Midwest seeks a Wax Supervisor on the 2nd shift to lead the wax department, ensuring schedules are met and production runs smoothly. You will plan work, assign tasks, and train new staff in a climate-controlled onsite facility at 8860 Smith's Mill Road, New Albany, OH.

The role requires 5 years of related experience with supervisory responsibilities, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Healthcare, 401(k), and paid time off are provided as part of our benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• 5 years related experience and/or training; education combined with experience considered.
• Previous supervisory experience required.

Aufgaben

• Direct the wax department activities and daily production.
• Review production schedules for capacity and daily needs.
• Prepare required paperwork and maintain records.
• Monitor raw component melting and oven work for wax batches.
• Maintain 99.5% accuracy in raw material inventory.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and cross-shift communication.
• Enforce SOPs to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain 5S standards and safety policies.
• Supervise hourly wax team: interviewing, training, performance, and discipline.
• Other duties as assigned by Production Manager.
