Job summary

DSG Supply in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Plumbing & HVAC Outside Sales Account Manager to promote products to contractors and industrial accounts, build strong relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.

As an Outside Sales professional, you will travel up to 75 miles from the branch, collaborate with Inside Sales to grow the territory, and identify new opportunities while promoting products and programs. DSG emphasizes ESOP ownership and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; postsecondary degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 2+ years of college/technical training in Plumbing & HVAC or 3–5 years field experience.
• Strong sales skills with proven territory development.
• 3–5 years of sales experience.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Familiarity with Plumbing & HVAC software and rebates.
• Experience with DSG Web Commerce.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 75 miles to establish, manage, and maintain strong customer relationships and accounts by providing stellar customer service.
• Work with Inside Sales Associates to identify, prioritize, and implement initiatives that will improve customer satisfaction and territory growth.
• Seek and develop new customer opportunities and accounts.
• Introduce, promote, and demonstrate new products and marketing programs.
• Correspond with Branch Manager and Purchasing Agents on changes in product demands.
• Act as a facilitator for the customer ordering process, including: processing all types of customer orders, correcting orders, responding to open order and back order inquiries, responding to customer requests for product returns, and suggesting changes for improving the overall order process.
