Ferrovial's Webber division in Houston, a Ferrovial company, seeks an entry-level laborer to assist foremen and skilled workers on heavy civil and infrastructure projects. This on-site role involves manual tasks, digging, lifting materials, and helping with formwork and pipe work.

You will work under close supervision, adapt to outdoor conditions, and contribute to safety and quality on site. No long prerequisites required; the position offers hands-on training and opportunities within

Qualifications

• No specialized skills required beyond basic safety awareness and ability to follow directions.

Responsabilités

• Digging, spreading and leveling dirt, sand and gravel using a pick, shovel or rake.
• Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials using hand tools.
• Join, wrap and seal sections of pipe.
• Perform a variety of routine non-machine tasks such as removing forms, filling excavations, placing pipe sections in trench and assembling sections of pipe.
• Perform a variety of machine tasks such as tapping soil, jack hammering and assisting in the fusing of pipe.
