Reece is seeking a Director of Category Management to lead end-to-end strategy, performance, and profitability for Waterworks product categories. The role focuses on improving margins, optimizing inventory, and strengthening supplier relationships across valves, hydrants, PVC, ductile iron, and fittings.

The ideal candidate will have deep Waterworks product knowledge, extensive category management experience, and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth and

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field; MBA a plus.
• 8+ years of category management or procurement experience in Waterworks, plumbing, or building materials.
• Deep product knowledge of Waterworks products (materials, standards, applications).
• Experience working with contractors, distributors, or manufacturer reps.

Aufgaben

• Develop and own the category strategy aligned with market trends and company objectives.
• Maintain a profitable, regionally relevant assortment and conduct SKU rationalization.
• Negotiate terms, rebates, and supply agreements with manufacturers and key vendors.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations to optimize profitability and inventory.
• Onboard new suppliers and drive product introductions and end-of-life phases.
