Job summary

The City of Shoreview is seeking a waterslide attendant for the Shoreview Community Center. This role focuses on guest safety while ensuring a fun experience, managing access, and supervising riders in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be at least 16, comfortable with heights, and able to work evenings and weekends. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement and a paid certification track.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable with heights and stairs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the waterslide entrance.
• Provide supervision to those waiting to use the waterslide.
• Ensure the safety of all guests on the waterslide.
• Report safety concerns or unsafe conditions to pool management.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Complete cleaning or maintenance duties as assigned.
