The role involves research, policy development, and reporting under the Director.

Responsibilities include coordinating with consultants, managing contracts, and preparing data analyses and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Eight years paid professional experience in environmental matters and/or regulations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares policies and procedures related to environmental matters.
• Represents the Department on committees and coordinates with agencies.
• Coordinates environmental programs and tracks implementation.
• Coordinates selection and management of consultants and contract compliance.
• Coordinates department liaison with legislature and other governmental bodies.
• Manages the Department's social media programs.
