Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) seeks a Watershed Representative to support environmental evaluations, permit processing, and shoreline protection along public reservoirs. This 12-month on-site contract offers immersive training in watershed operations and real-world responsibilities in water quality and land stewardship.

You will engage with local agencies and community partners while gaining hands-on experience in conservation planning, environmental regulation, and habitat protection.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Forestry, Ecology, Plant Sciences, Environmental Science, GIS, or related discipline.
  • Genuine passion for water stewardship and ecosystem protection.
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Protect waterways and shorelines through environmental evaluations and permit processing.
  • Support long-range watershed conservation and habitat protection initiatives.
  • Engage with community groups, agencies, and stakeholders to advance water quality goals.
