Qualifications

• Education and Experience – High school diploma, or equivalent; four years of construction or maintenance experience in wastewater collection system.
• Licensures and Certifications – Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B.
• Preferred Requirements – Prior supervisory experience; Wastewater Collection System Operator License or Water Distribution Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Supervises assigned crew in sewer main breaks, installation of sewer clean-outs, spill prevention, and watershed management.
• Trains and coaches crew on repair and maintenance of systems; assigns tasks including repairing mains and responding to spills.
• Maintains daily job records and ensures documentation is submitted; transports crew and operates heavy equipment.
• Ensures safety, traffic control, and compliance with regulations; provides input for performance evaluations.
